Victor is the Founding & Managing Partner of Vynn Capital. He was formerly the Vice President of Investments for Gobi Partners and managed two Southeast Asia focused early stage funds. Some of his notable investments include Carsome (Malaysia), Dropee (Malaysia), Triip.me (Vietnam) and Travelio (Indonesia).
Prior to that he was an Investment Manager with the largest venture capital fund of Malaysia, MAVCAP and was involved with direct and indirect investments. His earlier days were with Willis Towers Watson, advising corporate, pension and sovereign wealth funds on investment strategies.
He was an honoree of the Forbes Asia 30 under 30 in 2017, Chairman of the Malaysian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (MVCA) as well as a council member in the Malaysian Venture Capital & Private Equity Development Council (MVCDC) under the Securities Commission Malaysia, appointed by the Ministry of Finance of Malaysia. He is also a CFA charterholder and a Mensa member.
Darren Chua, Partner, CAIA, CFA
Darren has numerous years of experience in strategic management and private equity investment, having stint with the Singapore government, technology start-ups and Multi-National Companies.
He has led investment and strategy projects across South East Asia and Greater east Asia region. He has also performed technology transfer across Asia and Europe. In IE Singapore, he has successfully guided more than 10 SMEs in corporate development and market expansion across Asia.
Anne Cheng, Partner, MBA, MPM
Anne spent most of her professional career in the financial industry. Disillusioned with cookie-cutter breeds in finance, Anne stumbled into entrepreneurship, first starting a technology lifestyle company in 2007. She has since started over 20 companies and ventures in Singapore and offshore, has failed extensively, and sold her ventures twice.
In 2011, she joined Rachel in setting up Start Up Nation (SUN), with the mission of pushing humanity forward through building successful and robust startup ecosystems. To-date, she has assisted over 500 startups and brings practical assistance to startups through SUN and its resources.
Tunku Ali Redhauddin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz, Partner.
Tunku Ali Redhauddin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz has over 20 years of corporate experience across the fields of strategy consulting, principal investing, and board governance.
Presently, he is Chairman of two public listed companies – Bumi Armada, an oil and gas services company, and Taliworks Corporation Berhad, an infrastructure services company. He also sits on the Boards of Bangkok Bank Berhad, and Sun Life Malaysia Assurance, both regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia.
He is Senior Advisor to TPG Capital, a global Private Equity firm, and he sits on the boards of several TPG portfolio companies. Separately, he has also been personally making early stage Venture Capital investments for about 10 years across several geographic regions, in areas such as Fintech, Edtech, and technology solutions.
In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan Munarah, Chairman and Founding Trustee of Teach for Malaysia, Chairman of WWF Malaysia, and a Trustee of Amanah Warisan Negara (National Heritage Trust of Malaysia). He is Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Marlborough College Malaysia, an International Council Member of Marlborough College, United Kingdom and an Honorary Bencher of the Inner Temple, United Kingdom. Tunku Ali is also a Brigadier General and Commander of a Regiment in the Territorial Army of Malaysia.
Tunku Ali holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from the John F Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and a BA (Hons) in History and Social & Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. He is presently a candidate for an Executive MBA at Tsinghua University, China. In 2013, he was recognised as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and as an Asia 21 Young Leader by the Asia Society.
Previously, Tunku Ali was a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company and Director of Investments at Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
Lane Tan, Office Manager.
Lane joined Vynn Capital Sdn Bhd in September 2019. She is responsible for the management of office operations. She also provides support to the team in the administration of the portfolio companies on corporate secretarial and general matters.
In September 2009, Lane joined Teak Capital Sdn Bhd, a venture capital management company as an Office Manager. Prior to that, she worked as Office Manager in BI Walden group of companies from May 1991 to Aug 2009. BI Walden group of companies were affiliated to Walden International, a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm.
Shivan Bhavnani, Venture Partner.
Shivan has experience in leveraged finance from his time at Morgan Stanley, Moody’s, Willis Towers Watson, and most recently S&P. He has been an invited speaker on technology at global finance conferences in Amsterdam, New York, California, and Chicago.
In addition to his experience in leveraged finance, he has advised startups on business development in the healthcare and artificial intelligence sectors.
Shivan is a CAIA charterholder, holds a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University, and is currently an MBA candidate at Duke University.
Sheng Xuan Ng (Shawn), Investment Analyst.
Shawn joined Vynn Capital in October 2020 as an intern and eventually became a permanent Investment Analyst in June 2021. He has been assisting the team with due diligence and deal sourcing process. Shawn graduated with a Bachelor of Finance from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC).
Shaheen Anwar, Investment Analyst.
Shaheen joined Vynn Capital as an Investment Analyst in June 2022. Previously, he was a Valuation and Modelling Associate at PwC where he was involved in multiple projects including business and intangible asset valuations. Shaheen holds a degree in BSc Management with Finance from the University of Warwick, where he graduated in 2020.
Ravindra Airlangga, M.S., Venture Partner.
Ravindra is a Commissioner of PT. Jakarta Prima Cranes and PT.Inklusi Keuangan Digital. He serves as an advisor to several mobility and tech startups. Currently, he is an MP to the Indonesian government.
Formerly, he was an advisor to Shopee in Indonesia and was involved with businesses in mining and coal.

Paniti is an angel investor in several technology and climate focused technology companies. He is a Committee Member of Electronic Transactions Development Agency of Thailand, an agency founded to address the economical needs of digital transformation in Thailand. Frank Kang, Venture Partner.
Frank has more than decades of experience in entrepreneurship, fundraising, venture building and operations. He started his first business in South Korea, moved to Bay Area, CA to start a subsequent startup, and then continued his journey as an entrepreneur in Southeast Asia.
He double majored in BA and Chemical Biological Engineering at Seoul National University, he is an MBA holder from Federation of Korean Industry.
TAN SRI Vincent Lee, Advisor.
Vincent is one of the key figures in the Malaysian advertising industry. He started out in the creative industry in his early days, founding an advertising agency which then went on to partner with DDB as NagaDDB and later holding company Foetus group, which NagaDDB now sits under. Foetus Group consists of a series of agencies and companies such as Naga DDB, Milk+Co, Rapp, Tribal Worldwide, Milk PR, Beyond Events, Vizeum Media Services, Interbrand Brand Consulting, StART Foundation, Vogue Point and most recently, mobile payments firm, Soft Space.
He also sits over IdeaRiverRun, which holds events and digital firms, and more recently, several portals and publishers. Since then, he’s put his hand to the industries of publishing, digital, F&B and more. Lee was also involved in the leadership of media companies such as The Star, events company Cityneon holdings and more.
On top of this, he owns the largest wine distributor in Malaysia, Asiaeuro Wines, and has sole distributorship of major single malt whiskeys such as Maccallen , Yamazaki and Hibiki. He currently also partners on the Nero restaurant chain, which owns four restaurants, two outlets of Neroteca, Nerovivo and Vineria.
Setyono Djuandi Darmono, Advisor.
SD Darmono is the founder and Chairman of PT Jababeka Tbk, the largest industrial area developer in Southeast Asia . He is the Advisor of Taiwan-Indonesia Economic Partnership for Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister of Economy. He also serves as President of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Indonesia Chapter and founded President University Indonesia.

DR. Mario Hardy, Advisor.
Mario was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the not-for-profit membership association that catalyses responsible development of travel and tourism within the Asia Pacific region, in November 2014. He is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the PATA Foundation, a non-profit organisation with a focus on the protection of the environment, the conservation of culture and heritage, and support for education.
Dr Hardy has 30 years of experience in specialised aviation businesses focusing on data analytics and technology, coupled with several corporate leadership capacities. He is also the founder of Venture Capital firm MAP2 | Ventures, an investment fund with a wide portfolio of technology-centric businesses in the field of FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, GreenTech and FMCG, as well as a platform that provides valuable management advice, mentorship and access to a vast network built in corporate development.
He also received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from Capilano University in 2016 for his philanthropic work in Cambodia where he helped develop a school for underprivileged children and for his support in the development of a Community Based Tourism project in Vietnam. Dato’ Noorazman has over 37 years of experience in banking and the financial markets, investment and management, having served as Executive Director, Investments in Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Co-founder and Managing Director of FajrCapital Ltd, CEO of BIMB Holdings Berhad, CEO of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad. He has held key positions in Citibank Berhad as the Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking and was previously the COO of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Berhad.
Dato’ Noorazman is currently on the Board of UEM Sunrise Berhad, UEM Edgenta Berhad and PLUS Malaysia Berhad. He also currently serves as Vice President Commissioner of PT Lintas Marga Sedaya, Indonesia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan UEM, and Chairman of Board of Trustees of International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF). He is also a Member of the Investment Panel of Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pekerja (KWAP).
